Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar storage used on the MasterID website and dashboard, and how you can control them.

Strictly necessary

The dashboard sets a session cookie so you stay signed in between pages, and a security token used to protect form submissions. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign in.

Preferences

Local storage keeps small settings such as the last check type you used and whether a panel is collapsed. Nothing in this category identifies you to a third party.

Analytics

We use aggregate page analytics to understand which documentation and product pages are used. Analytics data is not linked to verification records or to the people who are checked.

Third party cookies

The public website does not embed advertising trackers. Where we link to another Universal Grid service, that service sets its own cookies under its own policy.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard. Clearing site data removes stored preferences.
